Dax, I’m a 50 year old white man that spent most my life listening to country. One day I saw “Dear Alcohol” and it made me look in the mirror. Weed was my crutch, but the song hit just the same. I am clean now, partly because of that.

Then I saw “To be a Man”. Damn, did that hit hard. That made me hurt and cry, because it hit so close to home. I spent most of a night watching reaction videos and seeing all the men looking like I felt and realized it’s not just me. I showed the video to my wife and it opened us up to some deep conversations. We have been struggling and we’re on the verge of divorce not long ago. We still may, I don’t know. But that song and the reactions of all the other men helped her really listen to me.

Now this. This just put a smile on my face.
