I still can’t get over the change to Boba Fett’s lines in Empire being redone- my brain just can’t “unhear” the original

Don't forget that Darth Vader suggested to Tarkin that the Millennium Falcon be fitted with a homing beacon. Vader visits Tarkin just after the Falcon leaves the Death Star and tells Vader "I'm taking an awful risk, Vader. That is why the stormtroopers were ordered not to shoot to kill at least in A New Hope. They were ordered to shoot close to them for realism's sake.

Actually storm troopers are way more accurate. I believe there was an individual who broke down he said they were 3.5% more accurate on hitting their target then current US special forces. And were around 2.5% more accurate than clone troopers. Unfortunately that all does not hold up against the ultimate defense plot armor.

I liked the change that the Empire was highly inefficient. The only way to climb the ranks in Palpatine's government was through backstabbing and frame-ups, so everyone was too busy fighting each other to take on the Emperor. The downside was nobody was actually qualified for their position. By the time of ep4, only Tarkin and Thrawn were the only moffs that had any understanding of tactics.

The inclusion of Jabba the Hutt in A New Hope was a terrible decision all around
For one thing, the original scene filmed in the deleted 1977 scene had a human Jabba and Harrison Ford walked around him
When it was included in the "special edition" nearly 30 years later, Jabba, being the giant slug, Harrison had to step on his tail but he didn't step up on the tail, he basically floated over it and Jabba screamed
Secondly, Han and Jabba' speech is pretty much word for word the same conversation Had had with Greedo in the cantina the scene before
What was the purpose of including this scene anyway?

The only thing that I didn't like with having Rosario Dawson as the live action version of Ashoka Tano was the headpiece of her costume
As an adult Torgatu, her "horns and headtails" get larger with age but Dawson's headpiece was the size of a teenaged member of her kind
I know that Rosario couldn't support the weight of an accurate Star Wars headpiece but couldn't her headpiece be CGI to make it Star Wars accurate?

I like the change in Empire to Ian McDiarmid but I don't think they needed to change the dialog. Just have him read the original lines.

Did not like the Boba Fett voice change. I get it...but I didn't like it. I didn't find it necessary.

Vader as the father is great...Leia should never have been his sister. Lucas seems to make each movie as if the ones before it never happened. Padme dying being the worst. "She died when I was very young...as in a minute or two old."

Rogue One did not explain the exhaust port on the Death Star, it explained why a single torpedo could cause the power reactor to explode.

Otherwise the rebels could have sent multiple torpedoes down the exhaust port without destroying the station.
