Attach or Insert Files as an Icon in a Word Document | Link or Embed Files

In this video I attach a Word document inside another Word document. The reader will be able to open the attachment by double-clicking an icon. Attachments can either be embedded or a link can be created to the original.

I converted a WORD document to PDF that contained a number of WORD document attachments. After converting the WORD document to PDF, the attachments didn't work. Do you know what I have to do to make the attachments work in the PDF document. Thanks.
