I have gone with a similar route in my Roth IRA, with VOO, FTEC, and DGRO. I basically have looked at FTEC as a clone of VGT that has performed slightly better in total returns over time and has a slightly lower expense ratio.

Being 46, I'm going heavier into schd, but still buy voo, vgt, and qqm. By retirement age, my 401k and employee stock will be roughly 1.2 million to roll over into a rollover ira.

Thank you for a great and clear video.
Just to share my three ETF portfolio: VOO, FTEC and SCHG.
For me it's less about dividend and more about performance and growth.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Karen Preston

What about Bmo Znq and Zsp. Is that worth to invest for long term.

I wish VOO would do a stock split! I think new investors would take more interest!

I have a similar approach but Have FXAIX, SCHD and VGT…I believe VGT is going to make a lot of investor very good returns if held for at least 10 years!!

I would subscribe to what you’re saying if SCD‘s dividend didn’t grow. If it were a 3.7% yield, with of 3 to 6% tagger… Then I would say leave it alone until you’re 55. However, the dividend for that fund grows at anywhere between 9 to 11%. I think one would be a fool, to not put somewhere between 5 to 10% of their portfolios allocation in SCD from the moment it opens.

I would lay out of portfolio at 50% view, 40% VGT, or 10% Schd
