ETFs are or should be the backbone of every portfolio. How much weighting they have in our portfolio will differ by investor.

In today's video, I will be looking at 5 ETFs to consider buying for 2025. An S&P 500 ETF is a given, so I will not include that ETF as 1 of the 5.

We go through growth ETFs, Dividend ETFs, sector ETFs, and more. In the comment section, let me know which ETFs you are mos thigh on heading into 2025.

I love all of your etf picks for 2025, especially IHAK since I don’t know the individual companies that well. Will be closing out some of my individual names for these more diverse etf’s. Can’t 0:43 you enough for such an informative video. Have subscribed and many thumbs up coming your way.

My strategy combines ETFs for dividends and growth, including JEPI, DIVO, QYLD, SCHD, and JEPQ. Last year, my dividends totaled $102K. but not sure how to mitigate risk thus far for this year

After struggling with investments that didn't work out, I'm exploring ETFs as a more stable option for building long-term wealth. What are the top 5 ETFs you'd suggest for someone starting with a lump sum?

Technology and renewable energy are definitely going to be key sectors moving forward. And ETFs make it easier to spread out the risk compared to buying individual companies.

I have SCHG, SCHD, and SCHX (not on this video). SCHX is the largest percent held in my IRA followed by G then D. I've had these positions in my IRA since May 2023. I've been thinking of dumping SCHX and SCHD, and going all in SCHG. I'm 62 and retired, don't foresee needing to tap into the IRA for years.

Thank you this was helpful. I am going to look into this.

The best combination: SCHG/SCHD 50/50, with 0% overlap by weight. 💯

Another great vid! Any thoughts on XOVR? Gives access to SpaceX but has a high expense ratio, thanks.

Hi great video, very diverse choice. I'm interested in utilities, do you also think energy will make a play in 2025, XLE? Does energy and utility ETFs follow the same path? I really don't know the difference between these two sectors.

Could you review XLKS and explain why is outperforming XLK?

I value your opinions as I believe schd will bring balance to my portfolio

The longer you go out the Qs will beat the SCHG. Consider QQQM as the fee is lower than the traditional QQQ.

Of note to observe is the starting for both funds.

I’ve got 11k in SCHD planning on adding 24k next year, I have 10k locked in SCHG despite being a dividend investor, I’m planning on a small position on FUTY etf which gives me exposure to utilities and a very nice yield.

Great video Mark as usual, what do you think if we replace IJR with XSMO and XLU with UTES , I think it would be much better ..
