How Often Do you Buy ETFs? (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, yearly, Lump Sum)

Investing in stocks may appear simple, but selecting the appropriate stock without a proven strategy can be tough. I've been trying to develop my $210, 000 portfolio for a while, but the biggest hurdle is a lack of a clear entrance and exit strategy. Any feedback on this topic would be greatly welcomed.

I'm a plumber making over $100k a year, and I've never invested before but do have a substantial cash saving. I'm thinking about starting a Solo 401(k), but I'm stuck on what to invest in. I've watched a lot of beginner videos, but I still don't know the best way to start. Any real-life advice or tips would be really helpful.

I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or when ever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

Investing in this economy is a hell at times for the average person that wants full control of their finances. Even investing in ETF stocks can be risky.

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer

NSYNC said it best
“Buy, Buy, Buy”..

I went lump sum into a new Roth IRA a few days ago.

Now I’m going to be DCA into a separate brokerage account weekly, even if it’s a smaller amount.. better than nothing

Timing is crucial when buying ETFs. It's best to buy when the market is undervalued or during a dip, but always do your own research or consult a financial advisor.

Great video Marcos! Always a pleasure getting to watch your investing content. It’s been helpful in helping me guide through my investing journey as a teenager( I’m about to turn 18 in a couple months) so I will definitely start incorporating more ETFs into my portfolio but for now I want to maximize my return(even at the expense of higher risk) so I’m investing heavily into tech stocks while diversifying my holdings.

Great video! For 2024, it’s hard to nail down specific predictions for the housing market because it’s not yet clear how quickly or how much the Federal Reserve can bring down inflation and borrowing costs without tanking buyer demand for everything from homes to cars.
