Been drinking 1-2 cups per day for a couple of weeks. Alertness and concentration is the main benefit I am experiencing.

Green tea is excellent! I did my research, and learned that polyphenols which is in green tea is great for shrinking tumors. I started taking the 'Life Extension Mega Green Tea Extract' capsule when I was told I had fibroids. After, taking the capsules for about six months, I went back to have another sonogram and the fibroids had shrunk significantly.

Dr. Berg, I have been drinking green tea now for only about 2 weeks and already have noticed a marked decline in the dermatitis on my hands which I have put up with for years. Previously I've used prescribed medications (ointments, creams) etc with little or no effect. It has gone from being inflamed to almost healed completely, if that's the green tea at work, to tell the truth I wouldn't know, but I believe it is, then the turnaround in my condition is astonishing. Late 40s early 50s, started having much more indigestion with black tea so have switched to mostly green tea now. No indigestion for me from green tea.

Because of this video I started drinking green tea again but when I lived in Japan I worked in an office and the tradition was for women to make green tea. We must have made 10 or 15 pots of it every single day and I figured out after 2 years I had made over 10, 000 pots of green tea. I also learned tea ceremony and flower arranging. I became expert at making ocha, impressing many Japanese people - who thought I couldn't do it right. In fact they were shocked when I made the tea because they expected it to be terrible and mine was amazing."sugoi". Personally I don't care for green tea, I got tired of it. So I'm looking to see what health benefits it would have versus orange juice or other foods. If it sounds like it's worth it I'll start drinking it again but I have it with mint in there so I can't taste it.

Dr Berg, I am quite shocked that you did not mention catechins and EGCG in particular. EGCG is a very powerful compound found in green tea and highest concentration in matcha green tea. It helps mobilize fat tissue which in turn helps speed up fat loss. I would encourage you to look into it!

Organic green tea, 4-8 cups a day for two years now, age 38, never had more muscle mass and less body fat. Sometimes I think 8 cups (2 liters) is excessive, but I love the effects of it too much to cut down.

And the headache. Once you drink green tea, the mitigation is gone after a while. Because of it, I never take a headache pill afterwards. Thank you for other useful information.
