I didn’t know about the “wiggle wiggle” but now I’m wiggling with joy.

You nailed it. The window management in MacOS is embarrassingly bad and it's a shame it needs so many workarounds to recover some functionality.... Sometimes I have no idea what the MacOS Product Managers are thinking about, but it sure ain't end-user convenience - they probably only focus on cool looking features that will look awesome on a presentation.

I was today years old when I found out window + arrow (left or right) automatically brings the window to half screen size on the left or right side. I've been manually doing it for ages and now I feel dumb. Thanks Sara for teaching me something today

Being a lifelong Mac user that had to move to Windows, I'll say Windows 10 is fantastic. The window management shortcuts are amazing, and I really feel I'm way slower working on Macs now.

My favorite Windows app is Fences. It creates foldable panels in the desktop where you can organize your desktop icons, and can be hidden by double clicking anywhere on the desktop. Supports multiple pages for different workflows, folder portals to quickly access the contents of a folder in your system from the desktop, automatic organization of new desktop files, and the looks are customizable.

As a Linux user, I'm obligated to tell you that I'm using Linux.

I knew the 'wiggle window' and it is called aero shake. Fun fact: Microsoft was about to drop that feature, but instead they decided to make it optional by adding an toggle in the settings in the insider builds.

As a Windows + Samsung user, I'm not supprised at all. I like how my devices have options, so I can fit them to my lifestyle. That's the biggest difference to me.

Bought my first Mac last week after close to 40 years of PC use. Beautiful but too much reliance on keyboard shortcuts that seem to escape my memory. Understanding windows behavior in MacOS is going to take some getting used to as well. Thanks for the video.

FYI: You can actually always show your menu bar while using fullscreen mode on mac. The option is in settings under "Dock & Menu bar"

Something I really love about Windows is that you can change touchpad gestures to LITERALLy anything. Any shortcut. Something I can't see a way of doing on Mac so far at least. With my trackpad I can open Start, Search, switch apps, open the notification centre, open Explorer, maximise something, minimise something, close apps and go back in apps (super helpful on the web, Explorer and some other programs.) all with one trackpad! It's awesome

It's funny and kinda sad that we take these features for granted on Windows. I'm thankful it took Sarah to bring back my appreciation for Windows. It is in some ways BETTER than MacOS.

Sara you nailed it.. I love the feel and quality of my MacBook, however over the last two years have fallen preferred using Windows. Yet prefer iOS vs Android. It would be great if Microsoft would bring back their mobile tile platform!

Your videos made me feel comfortable going from all Mac to a windows laptop when I needed to switch. Alt tab working on different windows of the same app (windows feature) was also big for me!

Another thing that Windows does better - volume control on an external monitor when you're running through a docking station. With my Windows laptop, I can adjust the volume nice and easy but on my MacBook I found to my disappointment that I couldn't change the volume level. This is because Apple have removed the 'Consumer Electronics Control' for third party devices from MacOS entirely. So if I am on my MacBook on an external screen and using the monitor speakers, I can't adjust the volume - I'm forced to use the laptop speakers instead on the Mac where I CAN then adjust the volume. Its minor, but its one thing Windows and Linux both do easy over MacOS.
