Just wanted to let people know that all the water at Disney is safe for touching. Even the water that looks dark or muddy is just coloring or the reflection of the paint used to make the water look old for the theme of the amusement. Every water ride is treated with chlorine because Disney knows kids (and adults) are gonna touch the water then proceed to touch their face and food without washing their hands first. Just don't do stupid s*it like splash people with water or get out of the ride to "swim" in the water. Disney will ban you from all their parks for that. They have cameras everywhere and employees who are designated to watch and jump in if anything happens.
Edit: I forgot to add they also treat the water to stop algae growth. Cause you know algae stinks, grows fast, and is expensive to clean on a Disney ride level. Similar to scrubbing your pool but 1, 000 times worse.

Helppp I was at Disneyland Paris and on this ride and it was really hot so I dipped a bit of my hand in the water to cool myself off and they stopped the music and said “keep your hands in the boat” thank god I had the time to look at someone else weirdly and pin it on them.
