You could try accessing your btrfs filesystem using a linux virtual machine. It is a bit of a work around but it could be useful in a pinch.

What about writting from Windows onto an Ext4 filesystem?

@You0wnAStore I believe it only works on drives that are logically visible on the windows machine you have it installed on. If you do have your OpenSUSE machine on your network you could always setup SCP or FTP to grab files.

Well, I can always access Windows volume from within the Ubuntu OS, and not only copy files from that volume to my Ubuntu volume, I can also modify files directly on that volume as well, and thus I can also copy files from my Ubuntu volume to my Windows volume, so technically, I could just boot up in my Ubuntu partition and copy files straight to Windows volume. However, I'd like to transfer files between those OS'es intuitively no matter in which I'm currently logged in, so using Ubuntu or Windows, I should be able to transfer files from Windows to Ubuntu and vice versa. But since Windows doesn't support Linux filesystems natively, I have to install an additional support for full read and write access...
