Fantastic level of intellectual curiosity in a 15yr old... God bless you Femi! I have completed the survey, and I will most certainly drift towards adopting the alternatives to plastics. Thanks so much 👍

God bless you for your wonderful presentation on plastic problems across the world. Recently, I was reading an article on micro plastic granules getting into human brains and many other parts of our body. I was shocked to read that it is also getting into the semen of human beings. I wonder what the negative effects of newborn babies will be. Your research will help to focus on this menace. Well done, Obafemi more grease to your elbow. Many thanks to Adeola Fayehun for bringing this survey into the open.

Mostly most products we use comes in plastic cintainers or bags. It is so dificult to avoid using plastics. Manufacturers force us to use plastics. Inmany places plastic bags are now banned. I take my own bags to the stores. I also try to only use glass as food storage containers. I dont use plastic cups and plastic plates. That young man that is doing research on the effects of plastic is a genious. thanks for giving him the opportunity to bring us the information. Keep up the good work.

That is absolutely true, about 18billions plastic waste end up in our ocean, waterways, and rivers... We all have a role to play to...this is a subject we are very much into....and we are supporting global ocean cleanup...at the moment...there are many ways to be part of this.... Avoid using single use plastic, try and track your plastic footprint and go plastic neutral..and so much more..

Everyday I realise my African ancestors were never dumb or "not civilised" like my generation thinks due to modernisation. Our ancestors who used plantain leaves and other natural method to preserve or store food items or is it the mud pots used to cook or store water. They didn't have to worry about unhealthy storage materials or cooking pots. They were wiser, very eco aware and very eco friendly. But because we are looking for "scientific" evidence see where we are

This is a great project, no doubt. But, I feel the issue is really with manufacturers of packaged foods, and drinks. I think to control the use of plastics, or plastic pollution, we need to start with the manufacturing companies.

This is an amazing awareness. What we thought was civilization and better life is apparently what we never knew that’s contributing to our illnesses and death. Thank you so much Femi, we are proud of you and other children that are thinking more positively on how to make this world a better place to live 🙏🏻

Femi, I quite agree with you. The impact of plastics on human health quantified. Most cancers, gastrointestinal problems such as chronic constipation have been linked to insoluble products that the body cannot breakdown.
I am much interested in your project. Good luck.

This guy is true. My mentor who is a pharmacist and also a dietician for the past two years has warned me against sea animals especially the sea animals that are bigger in size because they are more laden with minerals deposited in the sea. Hence she advised me to either consume small size sea food animals if I must eat or consume fresh water animals.
