The New Cirrus SR22 G6! Is It Worth The Expense?

I'm often ask if I use the airplane for work and whether it's worth the expense. In this video, please join me on a day trip from Farmingdale, NY (KFRG) to Boston, MA (KBED). Typically it's about a 4-hour drive each way without traffic. I usually leave my house around 6AM for a 10:30 meeting and will not get home until 7:30-8PM. Let's see how long it takes in a Cirrus SR22 GTS - G6 and whether flying is worth the expense.

I also included 90% of the ATC communications on this IFR Flight for all the viewers that asked for them.

Great video showing the advantages general aviation has to offer. Beautiful aircraft as well. I have loved the Cirrus since it first came out. An old Coast Guard brother of mine has had a G3 for the past 2 years now and absolutely loves it. At this current stage in my life owning one is out of reach for me but I can always dream. Until then I'll have to settle for enjoying videos like yours. Well done.

Although I am just a flight enthusiast, I have learned a lot from your smooth communication with ATC and IFR procedures. Enough to continue practicing the same on VATSIM in my flight simulator with both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane11. Perhaps one day this dream of mind will turn into a hobby like yours.
