3:51 hit real differently. I like it.
"If you want to reach greatness, you must be willing to sacrifice an equal amount."

Younger kids tend to have flexible bodies, so if someone starts training early it will be easier at flexibility rather than starting at a higher age, working late needs you to sacrifice more than at a Younger age

The master's Chinese is so clear. I wish he would be a voice actor for Chinese study books.

He trained for 20 years to get to this level!

Him: I’m gonna see if I can do it in 30 days!

4:56 *It's like a movie where the hero thinks the training is useless and later realises that it is indeed very helpful.*

From what I’ve seen in other places, he actually went pretty easy on you with the flexibility training. Usually Shaolin monks will sit on your leg and force you into a split on the first day. Twice each leg for four sessions 6 days a week.

lmfao
Yandi: do you know splits
Hafu: yes
Yandi: down.

When a master is teaching you something by demonstration from experience, never question a Master.

Everything is fair, if you want to reach greatness, you must be willing to sacrifice an equal amount. Keep working hard, you have a long way to go

"But do you know what's the more important thing to train?"
"What?"
"To train our heart. To train our persistence. To calm our restless mind."
I would remain to listen to the teachings of the monks forever, even if in order to hear their voice I had to suffer the pain of hell, because I know that inside every pain there is a teaching.
Monks are a bottomless pit of wisdom and their words always manage to fill me with tranquility and peace☀️
