In 1965, Angus Barbieri lost 296 lbs... by eating no food at all for over 382 days.

His initial weight was 476 pounds and finished at 180 pounds. The only things he consumed that year, were water, tea, coffee, and some vitamins. He even said he forgot how food tasted.

Long-term fasting like this can be accompanied with many complications. So don't try this at home - but it IS something to think about

He also only pooped every 40-50 days

I've done a few water fasts, the longest was 21 days and I felt pretty good. The first 3 days were hard but once the hunger pangs stopped it was quite easy. The first meal I ate afterwards was just some steamed spinach with some salt and pepper....And it was so delicious. You do forget what things taste like.
My skin also looked amazing and the mental clarity was very surprising.
Having said all this, I am overweight so I can afford to not eat- I definitely would not try this if you are not carrying a significant amount of extra fat.

Day 3 of intermittent fasting, noticed that i started drinking alot of water... 3L a day and i feel better when i dont eat then when i do 😂 switched my diet to keto today. Hopefully that helps
