That's pretty amazing. You came away with solid results.

Oldest roll I've shot was from the mid-80's sometime when finishing up a roll inside a thrift store camera.

The best part was the first owner shot the roll at a family party, so there were plenty of wild 80's hair..

Nice!
Interesting about the camera eating a frame from you, my canon 1v dont do that.
The oldest film i shot at stock speed was a 120 ektachrome 400 that expired in 1988, it was freezer stored from day one so the positives looks like fresh fiilm minus the magenta shadows on some frames.

Oh those images are amazing and have that classic Panatomic-X look to them! Oldest film I’ve shot and processed is 1969 expired Kodak Verichrome Pan! And thanks for the shout out!

I was gifted a roll of Pan-X by my secret Santa, which will probably end up being the oldest roll for me. If I end up with results half as nice as these I’ll be really happy. Thanks for sharing your experience with it!

Beautiful 😍😍😍
Try expired slide film, red scale-it and cross process-it in C41. I did it with Fujichrome Superia 100 and Kodak Elite Chrome 200, I love the results 😊

I found some old Kodak film in my parents house this week, I'm shooting my first roll on Olympus TripMD2 and it's a Kodak Gold 200 expired in 2004 lol, pretty sure those will be bad but I don't care
I also found a 2005 expired Kodak Elite Chrome Extra Colour 100 and 2003 expired Ilford Ilfocolor 100 Plus

I think the oldest I’ve shot was “Process by 1956” (shot about 20 years ago..). I’ve had, in my opinion, good to great results by over exposing the pants off of the stuff. Color shifts galore, but b&w magic is what I’ve discovered. I use fresh film when the situation calls for it, but really enjoy the challenges and uncertainty of expired stock. They don’t all work out, but I’d say I’ve gotten a solid 85 to 90% success rate.. so far.

So far the oldest film I’ve shot was Verichrome Pan that expired in 1976. I used a Kodak Duaflex IV and developed it in D-76. Turned out just fine. Great job with the Panatomic!

Used to shoot Pan-X, Plus-X and Tri-X in high school (around 1980) on my beaten-up, inherited Nikon F (made in 1965) -- Plus-X and Tri-X were for yearbook photos -- sometimes inside, grainy and contrasty -- but the Pan-X was for outdoor shots -- midtones and grain -- these shots of yours look great, and it seems that the film aged very little!
