Ingredients
3/4 Flour
3/4 Rolled Oats
1/4 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
1/2 cup cold Butter, cut into pieces
6 oz Cranberry Sauce
1/4 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
Instructions
-Preheat oven to 350° and add tin foil to a 8x8 baking dish.
-In a medium size bowl, mix together flour, rolled oats, salt, cinnamon, and light brown sugar. Cut in the butter, or use a food processor until you get little crumbs. Save 1 cup on this mixture for topping.
-Pour the remainder of the mixture into your baking dish. Pat this down and create a higher edge on the sides. pour in the cranberry sauce and spread evenly, don't go over the edge.
-In your 1 cup of left over mixture add your chocolate chips and stir. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the cranberry sauce and lightly pat down.
-Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
P.S. we wanted just a little cranberry taste but if you prefer a strong flavor don't be afraid to add more cranberry sauce in the middle!
