Excellent video Mark. Watching from Rhodes on day 1 of my holiday. I hope Spad next will work and or ability to download settings. Had a great flight East Midlands to Rhodes last night. Looking forward to MSFS 2024.

Thanks for the shout out, would have joined you but I dislodged something in my Psu replacement and had to do a full rebuild to get everything back up and running. I think this Alpha looks great, and it’s fantastic to have an insight into likely performance. The Push to Talk May hint at private flights/ servers or maybe AI interaction at some future point? Had the same drama with controls and career mode needed a full rebind also. Super excited for launch now, I’m sure it will have its hiccups, can’t wait to jump into VR, this flat screen stuff is hard!

The best part and why I really think this sim is going to be awesome is how the detail improves as you get closer, instead of in 2020 where it gets worse! Really sweet. Hope my Google Maps addon will work for the ground images.

Hi SimHanger,
The vertical numbers 48:26 are the individual buttons on your Honeycomb controller. I found it easier to bind the Honeycomb Bravo autopilot buttons using this, eg. Heading Index and increase heading/decrease heading by moving the slider to the right in this controller panel for each function I wanted to map.
This for me was easier than trying to bind by letting the sim pickup a button press or switch rotation on the Bravo.

What about control of a three monitor system where the monitor sizes are different and you want to align the graphics. X-Plane has this

I never had the problems you described with my Alpha and Bravo quadrants but had a user error by assigning my bravo throttle and mixture to the wrong axis but fixed them on the runway an took off without any issues.

The communication section under General/online look like we may be able to talk or text/chat with friends who are online. That would be brilliant for flying multiplayer with friends.

Something I just spotted.. 2024 is using DLSS 2.4.12.0 not the current 3.7.20.0. DLSS swapper tool will enable the upgrade.

Great video, comparing this Alpha to 2020 from what I have tested so far I believe its better than 2020 was at release. The promised performance improvements work and the visuals are stunning. Everything is so much better. This is what should have been released without being tied to the old FSX architecture. I did have issues with the X56 hotas throttle axis selecting a switch not axis. Could be me. Ill keep working on it.

Picked up my Xbox controller A-OK with a preset OOB but not my TCA sidestick which I have to manually bind in the Tech Alpha.

I know you answer allot of comments I own the turtle beach vs1 flight stick all my flight controls are inverted I've tried reseting axis and set controls to increase or decrease parameters and still no effect currently on xbox and re installing the sim see if it was a install bug thanks

Hi ..love your stuff … question.. have they spent anytime on recognising multiplayer 3p skins or are we going to be bouncing into hovering airliners still ?

I believe the reason you wasn't able to adjust the monitor refresh rate percentage was because you disabled VSync
