I had a regular tipbater on UE late night in my old location...
He would make it very sexy pay($18) 5.5 miles on McDonald's order. Gave me great instructions to an empty aprtmnt unit. Only got about $5.60 no tip. 2nd time i messaged him asking him if there was a problem last time i delivered and he said, "no, i got you this time, bro". I aaked the McDonald's staff to make sure it was all in the bag before i left please after i hit pickee up and saw who it was. Again, NO TIP. I would always zoom in on those sexy $$ high paying orders around 2am from McDonald's and reject em if it was from his apartment

Had a lady ordering food late night, she texted me and asked for emergency help, to please pick her up tampons, nothing was open so I went to circle k got the tampons. I told her don't worry just leave the tampon money on the tip, she added an extra $10 on top of that it was a 2-mile drive well worth it and she was super happy, called me her hero😊

I started pre-typing messages and adding it to the clipboard. That way I don't have to lose time typing messages. Basic info like. Waiting time for order to be ready, ETA, asking for gate code, or even a message thanking them for letting me serve them.

I ALWAYS send each and every customer a message telling them I’m on my way, Thank you and have a great day/night, as well as with shop and pay orders or any orders making sure they get what they want the best I can! I have gotten many tips or even more tips after the fact and thanking them is just common sense of. I am very grateful and it feels good to be recognized in a good way. I have over 14, 000 deliveries, been doing it for awhile lol. I do what I can to make each and every customer feel important and make their delivery experience a positive one.

I add 2 dinner mints and a thank you card in a baggie that I tape to the outside of each customer's bag or order. I usually get added tips thank you messages and more smiles last week a 40.00 tip was added to a pizza order that went to a woman and family that when I got there I found they were having a truly bad day. A little kindness makes all the difference

Had a Dash Mart order. Customer ordered a lot of Ice Cream going to a hotel. When I got to door. She opens and was all for the kids. Was a good exchange. When I got back to my car. She tipped me 5 dollars extra. Was a great night. Plus another tipped me 20 extra. Providing great service with warming bags helps a lot too!!!! Enjoy the content.

Also, I had a lady tip me $40 more cash (ten on app)-for checking her pizza 🍕 (an infamous restaurant in my area that is good, but always forgets stuff or screws something up). I sent her a pic even though I felt strange doing so, but she did ask. I thought 💭 what will go wrong now. Murthy’s Law for me. My transmission went out the same night, so I wasn’t ahead, but still greatly appreciated the extra money) on a far delivery 🚚 @ 2 a.m.. Had a hell of a time waking my husband up at the time to pick me up15 miles away& had to have it towed, although rare, there are some cool 😎 customers out there.

Yep, just last night I had a customer that wanted to add a shop and pay to the order, a double stack. But it wouldn't let him and he asked if maybe I'd be willing to pick him up some ice cream. I knew why it wasn't letting him - my dash was close to over. So I told him, "Sure, I don't mind." He proceeded to add onto his tip while I was driving and then left me another $7 cash on the door when I dropped it off. He made my night, and he messaged me back that I picked out his favorite kind, slow-churned! 😊😋 The whole engagement was fantastic!!

Yes I've received extra tips on orders after delivery due to kindness and friendliness.

I keep a box of plastic bags in my car. NJ is now plastic free bags. When it rains I put the plastic bag over the paper bag the store gives otherwise your leaving the paper bag on a wet ground. Not sure if coincidence but on Uber eats when I’ve done that I have an extra added tip. Who knows if that’s the reason…

Remember people, of customers forget to order sauce on the app. Usually at a restaurant when you pick it up yourself, they remind you by asking. Do the same! Send that "hey while I'm waiting could I grab you any sauces?"

I always send a pic, w at minimum, “thank you☺️! I had a girl the other day, who sent me a funny meme to let me know she was on her way, and I added to her tip (and she actually left it at my side door per my request). I don’t laugh 😂 easily, but it made my day.

I had a customer add to their tip a few weeks ago. I received a text that they added to my tip. It was pretty cool!
