I started recently avoiding anything not in its natural state. It really surprised me how much processed foods are in the NORTH AMERICAN diet. We are all sick from the food industry and government corruption.

Everyone with a conscience should be upset and the FDA should be held accountable for allowing these fake foods to be allowed into our supermarkets

I'm surprised you didn't list fake/processed honey. As a beekeeper and small batch all natural unprocessed honey producer, I can tell you that most of what you buy in the store is processed, heated, and filtered. Much of it contains "funny honey" that is simply made from sugar water that is fed to the bees. Once it has been filtered and heated, sometimes several times, it no longer contains any of the healthy enzymes or pollen.

Relocated from the US to Portugal and began researching why so many foods/ chemicals are banned here. The US government stance is that US citizens can do their own research and decide for themselves, And here I was thinking that if a food is on my grocers shelf it must be safe! Thank you Dr. Berg for looking out for everyone!

As a European I'm astonished that in the US fake food is allowed to be labelled the same as the genuine product. In the EU there are super strict regulations and the labels clearly say if something is the real thing or just flavoured.

This is 100% relevant for AMERICA! I live in Europe - meat glue is prohibited, Parmesan cheese must come from Italy - have "Made in Italy" written on the label otherwise they'll face lawsuits for selling counterfeit Parmesan, no one eats crab sticks here etc. I agree about the truffle oil, guacamole and instant coffee!

I just want to say how grateful I am that you put timestamps in your video description, as well as a brief overview of the most important highlights.
For those of us who can't always watch the full video with audio, this is a lifesaver.
Of course, all the extra resources are a complete bonus!
I knew about the olive oil, but finding REAL olive oil is a crazy challenge.

And in America all this is not only legal, they can deceive us by not having to put in the ingredients. The Food and Drug Administration needs to be held accountable for this!

Put a little olive oil in the fridge overnight, if it solidifies it is pure, if it stays the same then it’s not.

Thank you Dr. Berg. The truth hurts but lies kill you. We don't have to take these companies to court, stop buying their products. Don't enable them.

As an Italian living in the States I'm sad to hear Dr.Berg discard Parmesan cheese and if you REALLY know your cheeses you won't fall for any fake Italian cheese. There's a parmesan label of authenticity so look for the red label stamp from Italy with the seal of approval.

I've been thinking about moving to another country for my health. I'm sick of fake food here in the U.S. I'm convinced it's why we're so sick & it's scary.

Thanks Dr. Berg. I was also surprised of how fake butter can be. Once I started reading labels I noticed I was eating fake butter (full of canola oil, coloring, and other stuff) for years. Now the butter I buy only has milk and salt n I buy it from grass fed cows. It’s incredible how many foods are fake and it’s actual legal to do so 🙄😔
