How do you convert from r = sec^2 theta to rectangular form?

Hmm at the end, you multiplied rcos theta by both sides you will get=
r sin theta * r cos theta, if you factor the r out you will get r (sin theta * cos theta) right?
why did you get r^2 (sin theta cos theta)?

If this is cartesian form, how come you can have r = in the answer? I thought that cartesian form is written in terms of x and y and that polar was written in terms of r and theta.
