Akainu then tries to imprison both of them to the *"dungeon"* but Jinbei managed to save Luffy so now its only Trace who spends the rest of his life in a dungeon

If they got to that point, they'd probably make it so that the magma being superior to fire doesn't kill (Tr)Ace, just knock him out and force his fire to be constantly active to protect himself, meaning they'd crappily edit fire coming from the wound as (Tr)Ace tells Luffy to run before Akainu gets him too, and Luffy for some reason unknown becomes stunned with shock that (Tr)Ace is knocked out and might be captured even though Luffy could just pick him up and run, and for some reason everyone on the battlefield is like "(Tr)Ace got knocked out!! We have to leave him behind, we can't grab him!!"

Ace and white beard would have survived the war and retired from being pirates, that would be their explanation why we didnt saw them later in the anime
