I loved how bloody dragon ball z and Saint seiya were when I was a kid, it's a big part of what made them so memorable to me, you could tell how much trouble someone was in from the bleeding patterns, if they took a punch and their mouth bleeds a little ok, they're stronger but not by a lot, if they're bleeding from their nose they're in trouble, if they're bleeding from their eyes they're fucked etc
