Raynaud’s in Feet

Raynaud's in the feet is a rather common occurrence for those suffering with Raynaud's Phenomenon. One will often experience changes in color on the foot, sometimes all the way up to the calf. And the toenail beds can appear purple in color. When this happens the person often experiences numbness, pins and needles sensations and even sever pain as the blood flow is restricted.

It is important for those with Raynaud's in the feet to keep them warm with layered socks and protective, water-proof footwear. Heated socks can be used when needed for added warmth.

If bloodflow is not restored, tissue damage can occur over time leading to ulcerations and even amputation of the toes.
