The 2023 Honda Accord Touring Is An Electrified Acura-Like Hybrid Sedan

While most other manufacturers are abandoning family sedans, #Honda is not leaving the segment anytime soon with the redesigned 11th-generation #HondaAccord. This latest #AccordTouring trades some of the sportiness found in the previous generation for a refined #Acura like driving experience that feels noticeably more upmarket than its rivals. The #AccordHybrid will now account for more than 50% of sales and with up to 50 MPG on the #Hybrid, it will deliver the kind of efficiency Accord buyers are looking for.

We finally got our hands on the all-new Accord for a week and even though some of you have voiced your dissatisfaction for the removal of the 2.0T engine, the reality is less than 10% of Accord buyers choose that engine and with a 0-60 MPH time of 6.4 secs, the new hybrid powertrain is only about 0.5 secs slower and gets nearly double the MPG's!

Last gen Accord looks aggressive, this gen looks elegant

This is the first Accord since the early 2000s that will still look good in 20 years!

As a 32 year old with two kids, got damn this car is appealing. Amazing what 5 years and a family will do to your car tastes.

I bought this car a month ago and agree with most of this review, although I am consistently getting 44 mpg, but keep it in ECO mode 95% of the time. I liked last year's styling better but wasn't willing to buy a used car for almost the same price as a new car. Overall, a very smooth feel, ample pick-up for normal people. It has sensors on everything imaginable, but many are optional. It's a great car, but pricing is bad right now.

Man this is probably the most beautiful Honda ever! It’s elegant and serene while also strong and aggressive at the same time. Modern, yet classic. Can’t understand why some people would prefer the childish, laughable angry face designs with nonsense creases everywhere instead. I hope this is the beginning of a new look for Honda!

I got my 2023 Accord EX-L in late March, and have been extremely pleased with it. I'm getting around 52mpg of mixed driving, and the car rides super smooth.

When I see the Accord LX I see Ford Taurus when I see the touring Accord I see Chevy Malibu I think Honda should have been a little bit more aggressive with our design just me.

We bought a 2023 Accord touring and love it. Only negatives are that the passenger seat is not height adjustable and homelink is an extra.

I bought an EX-L in early March and have been very happy with it. The only thing I dislike is the black interior as summer weather gets here, but the overuse of black interiors has become a problem with all the Honda models. Too few offer gray or beige (ivory) interiors now. My mpg is average 48-49 in mixed driving, so i can't complain. I chose the EX-L for the features included, and the 17 inch tires that provide better gas mileage and less road noise. I also made sure to get blind spot indicator with my car. Due to a parts shortage, a huge percentage of Accords do not have BSI installed this year. Make sure to ask the dealer about BSI on each car you test drive if that's important to you.

I love my 2023 Accord Hybrid Touring! The Google integration is second to none and it drives super smooth. Also I have a bit more of a light foot and I have been seeing an average of 44.5 mpg combined city/highway.

For a top of the line Touring trim, I'm very disappointed that Honda omitted a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree surround view camera, and SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO! The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited provides quite a bit more for the money and will receive a significant refresh later this year (for the 2024 model year).

One thing people are not realizing is it's a Honda Accord and after all of those other competitor cars end up in the scrapyard this Accord will still be running. It may not have every single Bell and whistle but really who needs that. This car has all of the creature comfort you could ever want it is very well-thought-out and the attention to detail and build quality it's fantastic for what it is.

I LOVE this new Accord; I think the styling blows the previous generation away, and I loved that car. This new accord looks so much more elegant; has a bold presence, that retains its sporting character in its styling. It looks sexy and more like a big line luxury car. It reminds me of an Audi A7, but the Accord, in my opinion looks even better. I’m in love with this car. I want one really bad ! As always, great review !

I love it. Reminds me of the Honda that dominated the 90s.

Good review Sofyan. It is amazing to see the variation in fuel economy between drivers and locales. I took delivery of my 2023 Touring March 1st in SE Wisconsin. As the weather has heated up and the engine has broken in, I am currently averaging 43.6 mpg in 1500 miles. However, in the last 800 or so miles, it is over 45. This is mix of highway (60-75mph) and city. Yes, I drive with a light foot to get good fuel economy and it is usually in ECO drive mode. Many have said, this looks like an old man's car. Well, I am an old man of 64 and I am loving this car. So glad it is much quieter than the previous generation. That was my main concern.

Great video, Sofyan. I built these cars in Marysville, Ohio for 23 years and retired in 2018. It's good to see the Accord is still a class leader. Have a wonderful week.

I just purchased the Honda Touring and am in love! I had a 2011 so this is a significant upgrade for me especially with the heated seats which is a nice feature for me. I love the drive and the handling of the vehicle. It is soooo quiet that I thought it was not cranked. I like the large monitor screen and the personalization I can do on the dash. The passenger seat is way too low for my husband so we had to purchase a padded seat for passenger side to assist in sitting higher. They indicated it was a heated steering wheel, but this is only in the Canadian models. I have the nice red with a grey interior and it is very nice. I did not want the black interior so we opted for the grey which gives the car a very good contrast. But overall I am very happy with the new vehicle!!
