I love how he does whatever is cheaper for his customers. So kind!

With the sponsorship, I would suggest what some others are saying as well. Tape over anything bondo related and stop mentioning them entirely. They’re getting free ad time already so no sense in paying you for something they’re getting for free, while you’re also buying their product and saying so. Play that game with them and see what happens 🤷‍♂️

Honestly, as a property owner, if you have slight damage like this anywhere in your property you SHOULD be able to fix it yourself. This isn't really rocket science. Props to this guy for making a DIY guide as well!

Man you get the easiest little jobs I’ve ever SEEN.. NOONE in my town would pay for this .. they’d wait till it’s completely destroyed to call me only to try to haggle me with a price.. keep it up pal

That's what happens when contractors use MDF and particle board to build houses. It's a pervasive practice to allow for greater profits at the expense of the homeowner.

It's great seeing all the comments from people that don't know anything, thinking they're learning from someone that is still learning themselves. Not bad, but you still have lots to learn for a proper repair. Like they say...fast, cheap, or good quality, this is the fast and cheap way. With more experience you'll learn more speed and quality....and how to properly mix bondo lol Keep it up.

Bondo is great for painters and carpenters, much better on paint grade woods than other more commonly used fillers

Been using bondo for wood for years. One tip is to squirt some CA glue (super glue) on the bare wood just before you put the bondo in. It helps make a better connection between the two materials especially in the long term because wood moves seasonally and bondo doesn't.

Being a landlord for 40 years I've used bondo to repair just about everything in an apartment. Much cheaper than having to replace every door in the place or having an apartment that looks piecemeal. Tenant still gets a 200 dollar deduct for non wear and tear damage.

omfg. I never knew how to use those sand papers. I have the sanding block and the sanding papers, but never thought to use them together. I love learning <3 thank you

Instead of the wet rag try using a grout sponge when caulking. They hold moisture better and clean easily in a bucket of water and you don't run the risk of unfolding wet caulk (or "bleeding") and making a mess

If you apply the caulking after you paint, and use a contractor's sponge to bevel the bead of caulking, it will save time on cleanup, and make the lines more bold. Instead of covering the caulking up with paint, use it as a border to box the shelf in. And since it should be a slightly different color than the paint it'll make it pop even more

Says “jalapeño solutions”. Doesn’t fix it with jalapeños.
