I'm an introvert, surrounded by my extroverted family where being introvert is considered very unhealthy. When my mom pull me out with her to hang out with some people, I just stay silent and do my thing. And now they think I am ignorant and selfish.

Meaningless conversations make me want to never talk again. I’ve always been like this even when I was a child. And people labeled me shy or snobby even. I just don’t like talking about empty topics when the conversations shift to emptiness I have a tendency to mentally check out. Also intimate conversations with just a few people are far more appealing me than a big party.
