Introverts worst nightmare:The things you told a person in one-on-one is being discussed in a group setting

I hate that in today's world, Introverts (like myself) are always treated like they had some disorder that they need to fix. Respecting that is something I need in a friend- or relationship.

The second one really hits home. I can hold a conversation with a single person, but in a group conversation, I hardly ever speak up

I’m an introvert, and everything in this video is true for me.

As an introvert, I can confirm that ever single one of these is 100% true. Y'all basically just threw my personality into a nutshell. Awesome job

As an introvert, I find my own joy in music and reading. However, something about today's world is that introverts are treated as if they have some problem because we prefer to keep quiet and try to "fix us" and by doing so, they just make us more uncomfortable with sharing our interests. Btw, I love how psych2go brings psychology to our everyday life in an understandable and comfortable manner. :)

I am an extreme introvert so I cannot recharge without my alone time. This video is spot on. It's good to know that there are some people out there that understand us.

Yes to all four traits! I am retired now and enjoy numerous, mostly solitary, hobbies. When I was working, the words that sparked utter dread for me were "networking" and "group/team project"!

I’m an introvert, and one-on-one interactions are what I like the most. Big group conversations make me anxious most of the time

A problem I have with todays world, is that so many people are always wanting to get to know you even when you just want to spend time alone and away from people. A while ago, there would be times at school when your new teacher wants to get to know everyone better by doing that thing where everyone says something about themselves in a circle, or they play games with everyone that includes speaking up and going out of your comfort zone. I think many people today can most likely relate to this and it can be stressful at times.

As an introvert, I personally love reading in peace in my room, watch thrillers about investigation, murder and serial killers. I hate romantic movies and prefer to interact in one on one conversations. People think I'm just shy, but they just don't understand how drained I can feel after a group conversation. I love making research on hidden things, I'm a perfectionist and love to observe! I'm exactly described in this video!

I definitely consider myself an introvert, and I think the idea seemed negative for a good part of my life. But now, with the help of people like you, who also point out our _positive_ traits and help me understand why I like certain activities and dislike others, I fully embrace my introversion. One of my secret loves is just enjoying your soothing videos and the *adorable characters* animated by your team. 🥰

the introvert is that one friend of the group who you must protect at all costs
they may not say much but always have something good to bring to the group when they DO speak

I am an introvert. The one thing that fits me to a T is intellectual stimulation. I am really into that. I am a total nerd. I enjoy thinking about deep and complex topics. It is so fun. My favorite subject is fantasy. I also like science, religion, politics and New Age. One subject I like is psychology. So the Psyche To Go channel is right up my alley. Heck today I was writing in my first Dungeons and Dragons journal. Dungeons and Dragons is hard core hard core fantasy nerd stuff. Learning how to play is difficult due to complex rules. Yet it so much fun to dive in due to all the creatures, classes, worlds and history. It is so awesome. I am getting to the hang of playing. That is good. Then I can engage in the stuff that is cool. That might be the great grandaddy of modern fantasy games. Giving the brain a workout has mental health benefits. I am glad that there are benefits for reducing stress and anxiety. I think it also reduces the risk of dementia when one gets older. I am not exactly sure. If one keeps their mind sharp with intellectual stimulation, the mind is less likely to waste away. I would rather have an elderly person be super wise instead of being super forgetful and dim.

I'm an introvert and the two things I enjoy are one on one conversations and observation. I love to observe nature.

I can relate totally. I enjoy being by myself in quiet environment. I prefer one on one or 2 or 3 people instead of groups.I always notce small details, and really dislike loud and crowded places. I'm quite happy to hang out at home with my animals.

As an introvert, I can relate to everything discussed. One on one is just so much better! 👍
