My mint is out of control! I feel like I’m always cutting it down and it comes back thicker faster!

Fun tip on how I use up the excess mint:
-boil equal parts water and sugar (till completely melted/blended) to make a simple syrup then add a bunch of mint while it cools.
- I pour cold brew coffee into a cute glass mug and add the syrup and Baileys and garnish with a mint yum!
(Or you can substitute the Baileys for a milk/creamer of your choice.... but why😛)

My mom has tons of Mint in her garden, she planted on mint plant and not it spreading through her garden, I harvest it when it gets big and bundle it up and tie the ends with some twine and hang it from my moms pot and pan rack, it's a pretty decoration and then I grade it up and put it in tea bags.

Best way to dry herbs:
The fastest, easiest, safest, cheapest and eco-friendlyest way to dry any and all herbs is spread them out on a cookie sheet, place the cookie sheet on the dashboard of your car and park facing in direct sunlight (if possible). Depending on what herbs you are drying this will only take 1 full day, it might take a 2nd day if you had to interupt the process by driving the car, if the car cooled down because it was partly cloudy /overcast day, or just not very warm.

fresh mint is so much better though, that's why I have the plant lol so I don't have to preserve it anymore ;-)
