Without over explaining we can tell how well Addison knows Amelia and it’s why Amelia was so quiet in this scene. When she saw Amelia yelling at Yasuda she saw the same person who was yelling “what do we want drugs when do we want them now” in that intervention returning. Meredith and Maggie are good sisters but they can’t have a conversation like this with Amelia because they don’t understand her past the way Addison does. Arguably I don’t even think Derek can

I deeply appreciate Addison's use of "and" here, because as someone who deeply relates so Amelia and spiraling, sometimes you need that. People using "but" never helps. "I love you, and..." is so much more helpful than "I love you, but.."

I really loved this scene. Addison is trying to create a safe place for Amy in order for her to understand that she is drowning. And she has to ask for help. And of course, to stay sober. No one abandoned her, she still has people to love her, to support her. Yeah, each one of us is trying to survive. That doesn't mean we don't love our people. I love you Amelia ♡
