In this video I'll explain how to get rid of old fstab mounts and how to make mounts happen through systemd.

Awesome. Is the process the same for CIFS shares?  How will you do automount for ldap home directories using systemd?

Thanks for sharing

Works like a charme, but...
For som reason my laptop hangs during shutdown
I can see the message unmounting nfs share. So if that is done proper why is this happening?
Further i was wondering if it is possible to mount the share only if you browse to it.
Sort off like autofs does.

I cannot locate the "nfs.target", I can find the "nfs.target.wants".  How did you setup the nfs.target file?  I still can't get the nfs to work.  I can mount the nfs all day using the old methods but not this new method.  Please help!  I want to be able to do this.  I purchased your RHCSA 7 videos, but it's not in there.

It takes one line in fstab to mount an nfs share. No need for systemd unless you enjoy complicating your life.
