Hi Josh! In your opinion, will the vast majority of helpdesk support technicians and sysadmins eventually have to transit to devops, SRE, and cloud due to the rise of AI and automation tools? If you would agree with that premise, how do you think new people will get into these fields if IT technicians become obsolete and sysadmin becomes an entry-level job, which is becoming less and less in demand?

Hello! Quick question: I’ve done call center customer service/troubleshooting/sales work for almost 10 years and recently went back to school for Computer Information Systems Associates, I did struggle to retain all the info from my first PC Hardware class as I never dove too deep into Hardware or even all the different protocols, IP address ranges, RAID knowledge etc… Would it be silly for me to subscribe to Cyber Range now? Or do I need to gain more foundational IT knowledge before jumping in? I appreciate all of your content and hard work!!

This is unrelated to the video, but Josh, in Course Careers, the active labs are unordered, which confuses many people and prevents them from completing the course, which is not favorable for people who paid. We have to figure everything out, which is time-consuming. Just letting you know so you can fix this, because it can be discouraging for those who want to complete it.

thanks josh, I obtained the Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner cert, and BTL1 cert, and working towards Network+, and have been involved in an internship role for 9months as a Cybersecurity Analyst, but still yet to land a permanent job, can you please give me some advices?
