The best advice I can give is to find a doctor who will listen, is caring, and actually knowledgeable about this. Luckily that was me and I was able to go on HRT. I did all my women cares with an OB/GYN for many years, same doctor. He always sent my doctors notes to my primary care physician so he was kept in the loop. I was lucky to have insurance that allowed me to do this.
