I think I’m going with the duromax. Not sure why but it’s a feeling I keep going back to

Great Vid, Wow Honda under rates their Generators ability. I was impressed with how quiet the PowerHorse 7500 is.

I want dual fuel. After a hurricane the gas stations are either out of gas or no power and many times can only accept cash. Hurricane Andrew taught me a lot about no power for four weeks. Have gas on hand, but remember that each empty can will cost you 20 - 25 dollars and even more just before a storm. Then when the storm misses you, what will you do with all that gas. Propane can be pumped at Tractor Supply or other places with a small gen set, and the propane last a very long time. It's amazing that my 30 year old 4k Genrac with a super loud 8hp will start in 3-4 pulls and has a 240v and 2 120v plugs. I hate the noise piece of junk it takes all I got to make those 4 pulls. Give this old man a quite dual fuel electric start gen set. Nice video work Gavin!

Great video!!! The powerhorse really shined and my next favorite WAS the duromax but the genmax is better because it has the 50 amp outlet

Fantastic video and comparison! I can’t believe how much quieter the Powerhorse is! I really like that dual fuel Genmax overall. I really like how you did the high looks testing with that space heater. Well done!

Someone left a Honeywell 2000i inverter generator at our town's dump which smelled like it sat for ten years in a garage. After changing the oil and flushing the old gas out it started on the third pull and compared to the other generators I have/had it's by far the quietest even at full load. Now I'm using sound deadening material from high end dishwashers to insulate the clamshell cover and access panels but I don't have a decibel meter other than my ear holes. I'm impressed by the build quality too as the external and most of the internal fasteners are real non-magnetic stainless with stainless springs inside the fuel and emissions hoses to prevent collapse. The fuel filter has a magnet in it which I've never seen before but I want a ten pack for projects so if anyone knows where I can get some I'd appreciate it.

Would had been nice to see the Yamaha 6300 in that group. Basically the Predator, the Duromax and the Ai Power are the same, different branding and a few bells and whistles between them.

I was debating between the honda and the powerhorse. I love the multiple outlets of the powerhorse and it's a bit quieter, but I can't find a website or even a phone number for support.

Eventually something will break and will new parts even be available in a few years? What happens when they sell out? My experience with these off brands is that they make a new product, then dissappear in a few years.

The Honda is a Honda. I can call, email, and buy parts. Plus it comes with a 4 year warranty.
To be honest, the correct choice is very obvious. In 10 years I can still get parts for the Honda.

Great Video! Glad you put the Honda in the test.

Good video. Now do a video of you paralleling each to the other (different brands @240V) and see which ones play nice together.

Another great video from Gavin's Garage! Looks like the Power Horse wins out on this one. 👍

Great comparison video. Thank you. With the same generator lineup, could you compare the serviceability of the gensets. For example changing the air filter. There was a model that has it on the side, but the Predator you have to take the gen apart just to get to the filter. Could you compare them from easiest serviceability to the most difficult. Thank you.

I love those bigger inverter closed frame generators. But, your getting into some serious money. Makes you wonder if a permanent standby generator would be a better option, for a few bucks more. I'm glad you didn't wear a spot in your nice lawn going back and forth. Nice video thanks.

Even if the Honda is only second quietest we pretty much know that it will outlast every other genny in this lineup

Honda and powerhorse had the most voltage drop but still carried the load.
