Update: Reading all these replies is so heart-warming; It brings some wonderful memories back to me that I really do cherish. I do struggle to listen to this anymore, as unfortunately me and Amelia are no longer together. I have decided to provide this update mainly to stop any sort of reply chains that may bring any negative memories for either me or her. From the both of us however, we'd love to thank you. We used to read and talk about these comments all the time and it brought us so many smiles; you are all absolutely wonderful. Sometimes things don't work out as you'd like or expect them too, through faults entirely of your own or matters outside of yourselves you can't control. I wish the absolute best for Amelia, in all her future aspirations and accomplishments; I have never been more confident in one person following what they believe and achieving it (She's gonna be one hell of a lawyer guys, Better call Ames for real haha). For everyone who reads this post either to look back, or are just finding it now, do not give up on your special someone and fight for it even if it does seem pointless. Sometimes it won't work out and that is okay, but you'll always regret it more if you never tried at all. I hope at least one of you can find value in this beautiful cover, to have it as a song between you and someone special and maybe even use it as your first dance. Thank you to Will Stetson for creating a gorgeous cover that brought two silly young souls together and for the many more I know he will continue to bring together. Thank you to all of you for your comments and wishes, I would have invited every single one of you and couldn't be happier to have you all here for your kindness and support. Thank you to Amelia for the memories we had created together, I do not know where you are now nor what you are doing, but I can only hope you are still pursuing the dreams you had. A closing note from me, since god this is an essay of a read for you all lol, is to re-iterate to always try and stay with someone who is special to you. Listening to this cover has given me such a comfort to the point of almost tears. I have no idea why or how. I was just doing my assignment and thought it was such a nice song to vibe to while working. Then after a 3 loops, my body felt so light and calm that I just wanted to cry happily. I don’t normally get sappy, but I need to thank you Will. I’ve been listening to this song for a while now and it’s by far one of my favorites. The sappy part is that I just had my first ever surgery. I was really nervous (anxious, hyperventilating, panicked, etc.) the nurse asked if I wanted to listen to music or anything so I pulled out my phone and earbuds and played this song.
