It seems that PCs with Recall will be stuck with it , even if users do not use it

“You can check in anytime you want, but you can never leave.” Now we know Microsoft’s favorite band and song. :-)

Hi Gill, thanks for the video and the information that there won't be an uninstall button for the Recall feature in the Windows settings on computers that support the Recall feature. So, we'll see what happens in the future, but I personally think there should be an uninstall button for the Recall feature in Windows Settings. Take care and have a lovely week in Montreal.

I wonder if there's no uninstall so that some time in the future Microsoft can turn it on without telling us and make it a default "feature"

This is likely to fully push me all the way to Linux Mint.

Hopefully in time an unattended xml file can prevent both Recall and Copilot to be on the system, when you install Windows 11 from scratch

Why does MS want to kill Windows 11?
MS tell us _WHY_ customers will want to get 11 vs 10?

So glad I never saw a reason to switch earlier..

More bloat than WIndows already is!!! Could M$ conceive of a modular operating system to keep and run lean?

Microsoft actually has no competition.
Mac users are for the few, Linux is irrelevant really for Desktop and Laptops...
Just stick doing what you guys did on 95, XP and 7. No try to reinvent Windows and compete with Android and MacOS.... if you guys keep doing it then people may really switch to Linux some day.
