It's pretty weird how Ippo and Miyata has been made one of the key rivalries of the series, considering Ippo whooped his ass only 3 months after finding out what boxing was and Miyata had been training for years.

Update: December 6, 2017 - okay, I almost lost my mind at work and I only work part time on Saturday's and Sunday's. I'm quiting my job and putting all of my dedication to boxing and animation. Hopefully I get good at drawing soon because I have a lot of ideas for animation. And I've been boxing for 11 years now, I'm just out of shape and need my coach to train me a bit, and then I'm sure I could easily become state champ and go to nationals.

Update: May 7, 2020 - I got so fat when I finished high school in '16 lol I'm still losing it to this day and haven't been taken seriously at my gym because of my weight. I should be able to make my boxing weight by the end of the year now that I figured out that you need to eat less calories than your body burns per day to lose weight lol.
Also I'm back on track to getting rich. I have a party rental business last year which made about 20k gross profit and I was estimating at least 2.5x increase this year up to 4x but then you know the shut down happened :/ Once all of this passes though all the money the business makes will be saved to invest into a ballroom. I also have plans on starting a furniture moving business, real estate, farm, etc. I'm reading books on everything so I know what I'm getting into. My main focus right now though Is my rental business and I'll hopefully snowball into a millionaire withing the next decade or two. BTW the average cost of a season of anime is 2-3 million USD so yeah it's expensive I would put 100 percent of the money for a season if I had like 100 times that tho lol or maybe if I ever made that much in like a year or 2.
