The Best Build Order Part 2: One and Two Range Archers

In part 2, we expand off of what we learned in part 1 by introducing some variations in feudal age. You'll still want to be walled before feudal age, but with the knowledge you'll gain from this video, you'll have another defensive tool as well as an offensive tool in feudal age. The castle age is still using the knights strategy as learned in the previous video.

These are great! The last one helped me a lot in 1v1 and put my buddy and I on a win streak in team games. More importantly, these videos do a great job highlighting principles, such as eco balancing, in a way that makes a lot of sense. Your app is really great for that too. I've already been using it to tweak build orders and to guide restructuring my eco between ages and when making unit transitions. Not sure if you get the chance to update it often but I've noticed one or two items, such as Corvinian Army for Magyars, that are in a need of an update. Thanks for creating content like these builds and the app that helps people enjoy and understand the game more!

These are great.
A lot of issues with build orders is they're specific to a level of skill where it's not fun.
It's nicer to give newer players a list of fundamentals to focus on while leaving their options open towhat strategies they might enjoy.

Another side of the same issue is what to do when getting to castle age that's not knights. I understand they're recommended because it's a good strategy, but it gets boring for Johnny kind of players really quick

Ty for you videos! I'm finding that i really don't use enough villagers. I'm just getting back and only running campaigns to get better. I keep wondering why so many villagers you don't get enough off guys. I'm seeing now that it won't matter if you keep those offensive guys spawning and you can because you have so many villagers on resources
