>tone wood matters
>on a solid body electric
What about the guy who fastened some strings between 2 points in air with no neck and body, just a pickup, and had it sound pretty much exactly like the guitars that the parts were from? Also what about the statement that a lot of the tone comes from the player's hands? At what point would "tonewood" start counterbalancing these in a way that it starts to become the most important factor?

That’s one of the beauties of a fender.

This guy knows how to jerk. First toan wood, then only playing harmonics after all the talk about toan. That being said, he’s an immaculate player, so he can do whatever tf he wants I guess.

This guy is single-handedly keeping fender in business

I like the volume and tone knobs you put

oh my god the action is a mile high, real srv vibes from it

Tone wood in electric does absolutely nothing to the sound of the guitar.

That thing looks awesome, all it needs now is one humbucker and some unorthodox fret markers.

You give me hope in your generation! Cool to see a young guy so immersed in guitar on every level.

Tonewood is like astrology for California men

*tonewood absolutely makes a difference in tone*
Me with a guitar made out of plywood that sounds incredible lol

tone wood doesn’t do shit on solid bodies

Partscasters are great fun. But when I made mine I decided to do the opposite. I put in the best of the best parts I could into it. Seymour Duncan pokcups to USA custom shop bridge to flame maple neck, hipshot tuners and more.
The result is a guitar that puts fender USA strats to shame and never goes out of tune 😅
Years into the journey so had to be done 😅

“Crafting a Partscaster” is a sentence that sounds like it belongs in D&D… you’ve just give me an idea for a new weapon!

Nice..I hear that "swimming pool " rout lends itself to that bell like tone

Love those knobs and am about to put that style onto my partscaster Jazzmaster build
