the citroen wasn’t just any old car it was the xantia activa which had active suspension which allowed each wheel to be pushed up and down essentially allowing the car to lean into corners changing the center of gravity throughout the turn. 18, 000 xantia activa were made between 1995 and 2001. active suspension was used in the 1993 Williams FW15C (f1 car) the car won 10 of the 16 races it entered and got pole position in all of them but one.

The Citroen wasn’t an average car, it was one of the few equipped with a specific type of suspension which was particularly good (I can’t remember if it’s called active or hydraulic)
