When they explained why the new sim was being made, i understood 100%, now i want MSFS 2024! I'm not a MSFS power user but my sim folder is over 350gb and i know other power users are over 800gb, I'm glad they are reducing the size of the new game!

I hate to see MSFS2020 possibly being pushed off to the side, already, but this does look pretty good. I'd really love to see some military options made possible. Not bombing cities or anything like that. But maybe making use of a bombing range such as they have near Nellis. Wonder if those A-10's are default airplanes.

One of my first Sim games was call ATP in 1990. It had you work your way up through the flight training until you could fly a 747 through rough weather. Everything from track to take off and landing was graded.

Jeez the features of the new sim look good, for me the biggest issue in the current sim is when you get close up to surfaces and objects, this sounds like it is something they aim to improve with the new release next year. Bring on MSFS 2024!!!

It is incredible what they are doing with this...
When I was a kid, in the 80s, on my C=64 I had flight sim 2. Got a blazing 1fps. A friend had hyped up the game before I saw it for the first time and told me there was a house you could fly by and a person would wave... I must have flown all over the empty world looking for that house.

Multi threaded performance is already huge news. FS2020 is really CPU bound.
