What about software and security updates? No point buying a phone that expensive with only 2 years of security and software updates.

I pray that they reduce the resolution 2K is more than enough, keep the headphone jack and micro SD.

In my opinion, Sony should stick to its phone design combined with a camera, maintain the 21:9 aspect ratio, and continue using a 1-inch sensor for all cameras or opt for a wider sensor for one camera. They also need to provide better support and updates, and invest more in Sony software development. It's frustrating to see the brand falling behind due to delays and a reluctance to take risks, especially considering their resources and the technology they possess. Additionally, integrating Dolby Vision would be a welcome improvement.

I'm worried about this sudden change. If they're going to go with the crowd they're also changing what makes them stand out. I get that they need to sell more phones but I don't think this is the right approach. I feel like they're alienating the hard core Xperia fans. The 'Weird' things about this phone was what I loved about it. I still have my Mk.3 and was waiting for something really special but this quickly changing my mind

Hopefully they fix the camera overheating issue, provide 8 years of timely Android OS Upgrades and monthly security updates, keep the weight the same, offer face unlock, and provide an iPhone type point and shoot camera experience.
