Vote for my Business please! Tomorrow is the final day to vote.

This is my 2nd attempt at burning wood for the Drying Shed build. I have a new torch and things are now faster/better for this process.

This video shows my alternative for using pressure treated lumber on the drying shed build, "Shou Sugi Ban"

Now that looks more like it!!! And it is so very nice to see someone who reads the comments and suggestions and try them out!! We saw this method first using an actual fire and placing the boards together to create a chimney on My Self Reliance by Shawn James.... another great source of information! Thanks for sharing!!

Those torches work great for starting a fire in the shop in the wood stove

Looks good Nathan. Try that with Ash, but soak the wood first. It changes the molecular structure and make it fire resistant.

I would also thin the blo with mineral spirits (about 2 parts blo and 1 part mineral spirits) then use one of the 6 inch rollers to speed up the process of coating the wood.

Well I’m glad to see you’ve got the right torch finally. You can have even better controlled burning if your out of the wind or any breeze at all. Enjoying your channel and subscribe!!👍👍👍😎🇨🇱

As a commercial roofer that uses torches everyday, the best torch IMO is a Magnum. Have fun

That's a good drone if you can fly it around all those trees. Great shots.
