Very interesting and I appreciate hearing all your valuable knowledge. I’m the only person in my family/extended family to have Hashimotos. I’m only person with hypothyroidism. I recall my maternal grandmother telling me Dr. wouldn’t prescribe meds. for hypothyroidism in 1990 (when I was diagnosed) and she’d felt so much better when she took it couple decades earlier.
I agree with you! definitely believe many in my generation and those following are experiencing physical effects of all GMO food, chemicals our food had while growing up in ‘60’s-80’s. My sister was proactive in feeding her family Whole Foods when it wasn’t easy to find. I didn’t understand importance. I assume I’d have been interested earlier if I could have had children.
Thank you again for all you freely give to us with these videos. Much appreciation for time and effort you spend in researching new studies and treatments!
That thyroid can sure reek havoc and affect quality of life...past 40 years have been rollarcoaster with chronic fatigue..
Again, you are appreciated,
Nancy Rolfe/Texas

When I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I worked at a job for a year where the staff were extremely abusive. I got a migraine everyday and drove home crying. That job still haunts me. It was in a medical clinic of all things. The other staff had the ring leader, her Daughter and her best friend, as well as the Daughters best friend. WCB was brought in and as I was unaware and they spoke to the 4 women first, I was accused of lying. I was not lying. I have noticed I isolate myself at home now as I have lost trust in people. I used to be quite outgoing. I do see it getting worse as I use to have the cleanest house and now, I don’t care. I take my synthesis daily and the rheumatism has prescribed methotrexate which I have yet to take.

I was dx at age 15 in 1983. I had a goiter. I think I had it 2 to 3 years prior looking at pictures. I was the least active kid too.

My mom was dx when I was 20.

My sister, 1 year younger than me, was dx 3 years ago at 49.

Why did I get it first and so young? It has been a struggle all my life and only if I have the lowest TSH possible, do I feel the best and function best.

My mother got hashimoto over a decade after birthing me, and she believes this is because of years of stress. The years of stress themselves started 5 years after my birth. Assuming she doesn't unknowingly have it genetically, can I have it genetically considering she got it ages after producing me?
I already do have it, and I get pissed off hearing about these genetic things, because I personally think it's for other reasons. I am trying to understand

My grandmother had severe rheumatoid arthritis turned in knees and fingers.I don't have rheumatoid arthritis.I wonder if I had the propensity to develop some form of auotimmune disease because of her condition.
