This is the most clear and comprehensive code explanation I’ve ever heard regarding building chord variations. Thank you!!

This is an amazing explanation of how chord structures are built. It is clear, concise and precise. I'm just not sure how I am going to remember it, unless I watch this video a few hundred times. Thank you Marty and Chris!

Chris! If it weren’t for you and Marty, I’d still only have one guitar and it’d still have dust on it. So many of us appreciate you guys for putting out so much valuable and practical information, I hope you both understand how valuable you are to us all in the guitar loving community. God bless and happy new year

Easily the best lesson on chord building I've ever come across. And I've been learning to play quitar for 40+ years.

For years I've watched YouTube guitarist play what I considered exotic chords, especially when it came to ambient tones/music. In just 11 minutes Chris has explained them all and they all now make sense, what an incredible lesson. Thank you.

Outstanding - thanks for another really clear lesson, Chris... I like how you demonstrated the suspended chords as actually sounding suspended / unresolved... it makes more sense hearing it and having what it means explained at the same. Really love these "practical theory" lessons !

When the right person explains something that you find difficult. Suddenly it clicks into place. Amazing that in only 11 minutes I now understand chord structures. Thanks Chris

Some people say they see colors when playing others patterns dots/dasshes then sometimes it just looks like a big math problem. Before Youtube way back in the hills I think it was all about feeling and emotion. I like this lesson guitar playing has a lot of different paths as a beginer still trying to find mine.

Love Chris’s lessons. Thorough explanation in the most economic way of conveying music concepts and theories. Light bulb moment for me in understanding chord building. Can’t thank you both enough, monetise this vid twice over I’ll still watch and like over and over as thanks 🤟🏻

As a music teacher and guitar instructor, I totally agree with this! Awesome way to show and explain, not just for beginners, but everyone. Happy New Year fellow guitarist!

Just bought my first electric guitar. Can’t get enough of these videos. They take concepts that to a beginner like me seem intimidating and overwhelming, and explain them in a way that even a knucklehead with ham hands like me can instantly apply and have fun with. Chris, you and Marty are two of the main reasons I look forward to playing my guitar every day. Thank you so much for what you’re doing.

He's an amazing teacher. I love that when you have him back. There's a lot of things that I've learned with time, but I don't really know how they work, and this video is really eye-opening.

You're very good at explaining, even I totally get it.
Major and minor is easy enough but memorizing the rest is gonna take some practicing.
Thanks for sharing this!
