When I was 12, I begged my much older brother, whom I was visiting out of town, to buy me this 45 rpm single. Instead, he bought me the whole CTA album. My mind was blown, and the rest is history...a 50 year love affair with this bands incredible music was born.

Those instruments are killing it. Who would thought someone singing about something so simple as time, would become a masterpiece.

This tune is over 50 years old and still sounds fresh and crisp.

This is obviously a masterpiece, but nobody ever talks about how fucking amazing the wrap on this track is. That horn outro is incredible.

I'm listening in February 2024. The absolute mastery of this band back in the 70s remains a wonder of the world

Saw them in 1977 at the university of Notre Dame.
Camped out 3 days before tickets went on sale to get tickets.
Can’t believe my dad let a 17 year old kid camp out to buy tickets.
Great memories!!!

Yes, indeed I still love this band's sound. It is 2024 and I am still a fan. A few nights ago I watched a documentary about them. Their story is amazing with some sad times. They finally were inducted into the Rock/Roll Hall of Fame. I was born in 1950. I think the '60s and '70s had the best music.

Every single note and beat of this song is pure genius!! These guys were so good, it's scary!!! The horns, the drumming, the singing, MAGICAL!! Saw them in concert in 1972, and again about 5 years ago. Still amazing!

Was just suffering from a smallpopped blood vessel in my brain.. and the pain is extremely rough... But sitting in the shower with as much hot water I can take.. and listing to this song on loop.. it's like night and day.. pain becomes finally manageable Crazy what music can do for you In your time of need.
