I removed the batteries, unplugged the stick, then replugged the stick, reinserted the batteries and tried the remote. It worked. Thank you.

Stop watching the video..the 4 ways are all the same.. remove the batteries and turn off the device.. it was all the same..stop wasting your time..

Wow....It worked!!!!mine worked by unplugging Roku (with batteries removed from remote) and replugging...Put in batteries and VOILA...
