US gun control: Advocates face obstacles as violence grows

Activists say last year was one of the worst on record for gun violence in the United States, with nearly 650 mass shootings.
State and local authorities have been passing laws trying to limit the supply and use of firearms, but those efforts are facing new obstacles.
