Haven't tested this but in theory should be able to do same with FX Audio SQ3-Dac which is identical to D10s spec wise, same dac chip, xmos, etc. SQ3 also has a pre-amp volume control remote which some folks find helpful. I paid $90 USD for the SQ3, it self powers from my Android tablet with usb C to usb B cable and runs great with no issues. Thanks for your video!

And can you control the volume in such setup via car native volume controller and not only the NEXT/PREV track from the wheel?

Do you know if the Apple usb to lightning adapter would work with this as well? It’s like the camera adapter but just the usb…

Have a question about DSD file.
Have you try to play DSD files from DAP to D10S then out to DSP?
Coz now my problem is I can not play dsd file in my dap and send out by SPDIF or usb out to DSP. It has no sound.
My DAP is Ibasso 240

Hi, thanks for a very detailed review, this is very useful for those who intend to improve the sound. So you will not need the M11 Plus ESS version. You go for the beast M17 "it's great" :-)
