I was waiting for a D10 balanced review and there it is. Last month I was in the market in order to get a backup DAC. So mine unit has been with me for two weeks and interestingly it sounds brilliant with even a high level setups. D10B > kgsshv electrostatic amp > stax sr007mk2. I'm questioning myself every single day why I was seeking for 4 digits labeled DACs since getting this one. Absolutely bang for the buck.

I bought myself a nice lil LOXJIE P20 last Christmas due to single-ended AND balanced INPUTS it has. Been using it with RCA but this will change once this DAC arrives. Man i cannot wait to feed my Amp balanced and hear the difference. Im too using the DT's 990 PRO.

I'm trying to decide if I need a DAC... I have a Focusrite 6i6 2nd gen which doesn't have as good a DAC as this but it's ok. But one thing I definitely need is a headphone amp so going to start with a Topping L50 headphone amp to drive my 600 ohm Sennheiser HD520 which I just got and can't use properly because everything I have is underpowered for it. I have a collection of lower consumer headphones from Sennheiser from HD 558, HD 599, HD 280 Pro and HD 480. All are 50-70 ohms so my Focusrite has no trouble running them.

what does the balanced version mean. I only use monitors so will it make sense to get this over the non balanced version?

I was really excited with this D10 Balanced, but some reviewers say it's really Sharp and I am thinking about Soncoz or save 200 bucks and buy this (In mexico that's the difference)

Great review. In your written review you mention this is not compatible with Android due to OTG current limitations. Are you aware of a device such as this Topping D10 that can act as usb bridge for an Android tablet. I am looking to use my old tablet as a streamer. I've seen cheap devices available, however I am concerned with cheap re-clocking issues.
