The original D10 is also the heart of my system. DAC out into my Magni 3. Optical out into my NAD D 3020. Coaxial out into my DAC for my other stereo amp. I find long coaxial runs to be better than long optical runs. I don't know what I'd do without this device, I love it so much.

I just upgraded from the Fiio E10k as my DAC to this DAC and WOW it made such a difference im shocked how clear music sounds now. Highly recommend the D10S as a DAC and then the JDS Labs atom as the amp its a nice combo!

Not exactly what you were asking for, but mini dsp makes a box that accepts optical, coax, or AES and outputs optical, coax, and AES all at the same time. It also dirac lives the signal.

Hey Z. I am interested in using this with the KEF L50 Wireless II. I know you have only reviewed the LS 50 but would like your opinion.
The wife is not going for the space taken and the cost of being an actual audio file. Ya, she makes more than me lol.
I think the KEF LS 50 Wireless/REL HT sub is my only way to go for anything decent that is small and way less than what I wanted to spend on my set up.

I use the topping D10S with the topping L30 to listen to my Sennheiser HD600 and Superlux HD662 . . . the sound quality is outstanding compared to my previous Khadas Tone Board dac and Focusrite Solo 3rd gen, i highly recommend to buy this dac it's a really good value for the money

I compared recently Aune X8 (with BB op-amp) with Topping D10 (not "s") and in terms of sound I could hardly hear any difference... My headphone amp is Aune X7S, my headphones Audeze LCD-2C. I even got 48 hours of "burning" X8, just in case if anyone wanted to point out the need of this "crucial" treatment... Seriously, I hoped to get on the higher level of sound quality buying X8 and found no reason to pay 300$ for new device. Wondering now how much should I spend to get dac that only in terms of sound (not other features) will make a significant progress?

Linkfor USB DAC on amazon has USB in, with the following outputs: optical, coax spdif, headphone, and L/R RCA out. 17 bucks. They make also make one that loses the RCA out but gains a volume knob for the headphone jack.
